  Considerations included in this article shall be aimed to present how the creative activities and the development  of the ideas of the French philosopher, Henri Lefebvre, affected the shaping of a modern city as combined with the idea of space dedicated to the creative class. The philosopher gave much thought to the issue of industrialisation, which, in his  opinion, was a factor contributing to the degradation of the city image as a complete work of a number of generations. The creative and professional activity of the representatives of the creative class can bring about the change of the modern city image, can contribute to  the understanding of the idea of the city as propagated by Henri Lefebvre and to the recreation thereof.;
  Zarys treści: Rozważania zawarte w niniejszym artykule będą miały na celu ukazanie, w jaki sposób dokonania twórcze oraz rozwój myśli francuskiego filozofa Henri Lefebvre’a wpłynęły na kształtowanie się zjawiska miasta współczesnego w połączeniu z ideą przestrzeni  dedykowanej klasie kreatywnej. Z punktu widzenia filozofa znamienne w jego rozważaniach staje się zagadnienie industrializacji, która w jego przekonaniu przyczyniła się do zdegradowania obrazu miasta jako dzieła skończonego, będącego efektem pracy pokoleń. Działalność twórcza oraz zawodowa przedstawicieli klasy kreatywnej może przyczynić się do zmiany obrazu miasta współczesnego oraz zrozumienia, a także odtworzenia idei miasta głoszonej przez filozofa.
