  Translated from Czech by Małgorzata Kalita.   The article presents and discusses several approaches to the notion of “the world” as exhibited by members of the Prague School and present in Doležel’s writings in an attempt to pinpoint significant differences as well as common ground in their use of the term. In the course of the article, the author focuses primarily on the use of the term referring to either the description of the setting in individual works of literature, or referring to the surrounding empirical reality, paying particular attention to systems of references. The core of the article provides a detailed analysis of “intentional” reality according to Mukařovský and Ingarden, as well as a relational analysis of the variants of the term in the works of Doležel and Vodička. The author concludes that although some instances of the use of the term do appear to overlap with regard to the notion in question, one cannot be satisfied with considering them as synonymous, since the fundamental divergences in their use stem from different reference subjects.  ;
  Z czeskiego przełożyła Małgorzata Kalita. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia i omawia wybrane rozumienia pojęcia "świata," podejmowanego przez członków szkoły praskiej oraz obecnego w pismach Doležela. Dzięki temu, podejmuje on próbę wskazania znaczących różnic, jak i podobieństw między różnymi użyciami tego pojęcia. W toku dyskusji, uwydatnione zostają przedewszystkim użycia odwołujące się do opisu świata przedstawionego w poszczególnych dziełach literackich oraz odwołujące się do otaczającej nas empirycznej rzeczywistości poprzez system odniesień. Najważniejsza część artykułu poświęcona jest złożonej analizie rzeczywistości "intencjonalnej" wedle Mukařovskiego oraz Ingardena, oraz relacyjnej analizie wariantów tego pojęcia u Doležela i Vodički. Konkludując swój wywód, autor twierdzi, iż mimo pewne użycia "świata" zdają się nakładać na siebie, nie należy stosować ich jako synonimów, ponieważ fundamentalne rozbieżności w użyciu tego pojęcia wyrastają z różnych referentów.
