  Formalizing cooperation between multiple stakeholder groups – such as academic institutions, industry, the service sector, associations, and other local initiatives – leading to the creation of permanent structures, enables the achievement of unique economic, environmental, and social goals. The diversity of these structures makes it necessary to clarify the differences in their definitions and functioning. This study presents an analysis of cluster definitions in both narrow and broad terms and outlines the distinctions between the concepts of cluster, cluster initiative, and network of connections. The aim of the paper is to address the following question: Is there a universal approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) in relation to cluster structures? To seek an answer to this question, the desk research method was employed. Additionally, an attempt was made to characterize the concept of corporate social responsibility in the context of cluster structures. The analysis led to the conclusion that there is no single universal method for implementing the CSR concept within cluster structures.;
  Formalizowanie współpracy pomiędzy wieloma grupami interesariuszy – takimi jak środowiska akademickie, przemysł, sektor usług, stowarzyszenia czy inne inicjatywy lokalne – prowadzące do tworzenia stałych struktur, umożliwia osiąganie unikalnych celów ekonomicznych, środowiskowych, a także społecznych. Mnogość tych struktur sprawia, że konieczne staje się objaśnienie różnic w ich definiowaniu oraz funkcjonowaniu. W opracowaniu dokonano analizy definiowania klastrów w wąskim i szerokim ujęciu, a także przedstawiono różnice pomiędzy pojęciami: klaster, inicjatywa klastrowa oraz sieć powiązań. Celem opracowania jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie: czy istnieje uniwersalne podejście do społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu (CSR – Corporate Social Responsability) w odniesieniu do struktur klastrowych? W poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na powyższe pytanie posłużono się metodą desk research. Ponadto podjęto próbę scharakteryzowania społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu w odniesieniu do struktur klastrowych. W wyniku przeprowadzonych rozważań ustalono, iż nie istnieje jedna uniwersalna metoda realizacji koncepcji CSR w strukturach klastrowych.
