Furthermore, the paper emphasizes the potential of using eco-psychology to address environmental issues in world literature, which aims to enhance readers’ understanding of both Eastern and Western perspectives on the environment and underscore the significance and necessity of living in harmony with nature.;
  W artykule podjęto próbę zbadania przecięcia psychoanalizy i ekokrytyki w Japonii, w szczególności, w odniesieniu do opisów literackich w pracy 2:46. Aftershocks: Stories from the Japan Earthquake (2011) z ekopsychologicznego punktu widzenia. Studium koncentruje się na interpretacji i omówieniu czterech aspektów tego, w jaki sposób osoby, które doświadczyły Wielkiego Trzęsienia Ziemi we Wschodniej Japonii, radziły sobie z poczuciem niższości, akceptacją rzeczywistości, relacjami człowieka z naturą i równością w społeczeństwie o strukturze horyzontalnej. Ponadto artykuł podkreśla potencjał wykorzystania ekopsychologii do poruszania kwestii środowiskowych w literaturze światowej, co ma na celu lepsze zrozumienie przez czytelników zarówno wschodniej, jak i zachodniej perspektywy oraz wyeksponowanie konieczności życia w harmonii z naturą.
