The article attempts a biographical reconstruction of Barbara Otwinowska – a member of the generation of the ‘broken flight’, participant in the Warsaw Uprising, student of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw, political prisoner, researcher at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, professor of Polish philology, linguist, specialist in Old Polish literature, poet, and custodian of national memory.;
Celem artykułu jest próba rekonstrukcji biograficznej przedstawicielki pokolenia „urwanego lotu” – Barbary Otwinowskiej: uczestniczki powstania warszawskiego, studentki polonistyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, więźniarki politycznej, pracownika naukowego Instytutu Badań Literackich Polskiej Akademii Nauk, profesora doktora habilitowanego nauk humanistycznych w zakresie filologii polskiej, językoznawczyni, specjalistki od literatury staropolskiej, poetki, kustoszki pamięci narodowej.
