  Halloween is a feast that is becoming more and more important in modern times. It is based on the celebration of the most important Celtic holiday, Samhain, on November 1. Many quasi-religious practices are present in the celebration of this feast on October 31. This, it would seem, one of the many holidays celebrated today, however, hides the dark side, constituting a hidden, often dormant spiritual threat, because its impact can be postponed, and the negative effects of the celebration of this holiday are often not associated with himself. The article presents the genesis, development and purpose of this feast in the context of modern times.;
  Halloween jest świętem, które w czasach współczesnych nabiera na znaczeniu. U jego podstaw leżą obchody najważniejszego celtyckiego święta Samhain, przypadającego na dzień 1 listopada. Wiele praktyk quasi-religijnych jest obecnych w obchodach tego święta 31 października. To, wydawać by się mogło, jedno z wielu obchodzonych współcześnie świąt skrywa jednak mroczną stronę, stanowiąc ukryte, często uśpione zagrożenie duchowe, gdyż jego oddziaływanie może być odłożone w czasie, a negatywne skutki celebracji tego święta często nie wiążą się z nim samym. Artykuł przedstawia genezę, rozwój i cel tego święta w kontekście czasów współczesnych.
