The subject of the text are the foresters of the western districts of the Grodno Governorate in the years 1869-1915. The aim of the research is to analyze the staffing of Russian government forestry in the western districts of the Grodno Governorate. Official Russian printed sources were analyzed in the study. Selected elements were used: methods of analyzing the staffing of forester's posts in the western districts of the Grodno Governorate and elements of the prosopographic method. The text analyzes the staffing of foresters and establishes basic biographical information. The scientific sketch shows the elements of the process of unification and Russification of foresters from the Białystok, Sokółka and Bielsk Podlaski regions in the Russian Empire before 1915.;
Tekst dotyczy leśniczych zachodnich powiatów guberni grodzieńskiej w latach 1869–1915. Celem badania jest próba analizy obsady personalnej rosyjskich rządowych leśnictw w zachodnich powiatach guberni grodzieńskiej. W badaniu przeanalizowano oficjalne rosyjskie źródło drukowane. Wykorzystano wybrane elementy: metody analizy obsady stanowiska leśniczego w zachodnich powiatach guberni grodzieńskiej i metody prozopograficznej. Przeanalizowano obsadę personalną leśniczych, ustalono podstawowe informacje biograficzne. Szkic naukowy pokazuje elementy procesu unifikacji i rusyfikacji leśniczych z rejonu Białegostoku, Sokółki i Bielska Podlaskiego w rosyjskim imperium przed 1915 r.
