  The paper presents wonder as a category of political philosophy. It is argued that wonder makes an essential contribution to the development of the relationship of assimilation without appropriation, which, in turn, is interpreted as foundational for politics. The argument draws on the interpretations of wonder as a non-eudaimonistic political emotion (Martha C. Nussbaum) and positive anxiety of considering things (Jeremy Bendik-Keymer), as well as discussing communication based on asymmetrical reciprocity (Iris Marion Young) and the connection between wonder and political judgment (Hannah Arendt).;
  Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zadziwienia jako kategorii filozofii polityki. Argumentuje się, że postawa ta odgrywa zasadniczą rolę w kształtowaniu relacji przyswojenia swoistości (odróżnionej od zawłaszczenia), którą z kolei interpretuje się jako fundamentalną dla sfery polityki. Tezę te rozwija się w nawiązaniu do kategorii oikeiosis (oryginalnie stoickiej, pośrednio interpretowanej przez Marthę C. Nussbaum, a bezpośrednio – Jeremy’ego Bendika-Keymera), oikeios (w ujęciu Jasona W. Moore’a) oraz kompetencji sądzenia politycznego (za Arendtowskim odczytaniem Kanta).
