In this article, the author identifies reasons for the selectivity of interventions motivated by humanitarian factors.;
  W ostatnich latach Rada Bezpieczeństwa ONZ coraz częściej krytykowana jest za wybiórczość i stosowanie podwójnych standardów w reakcji na kryzysy humanitarne. Ta różnica w działaniu stwarza pytania, jakie czynniki motywują Organizację Narodów Zjednoczonych do reakcji. W artykule autor wskazuje powody selektywności interwencji motywowanych czynnikami humanitarnymi.
