  The author makes a subjective attempt to compare two Polish translations of Bohumil Hrabal’s novel Ostře sledované vlaky (Polish title Pociągi pod specjalnym nadzorem; English title Closely Watched Trains), using selected examples (including proper names: first names, surnames; place names; abbreviations; comparisons). As a result, he concludes young translators still get inspiration for retranslations from the work of the Czech writer, which may indicate that Hrabal’s reception in Polish literary culture is still very lively.;
  Autor podejmuje subiektywną próbę porównania dwóch polskich przekładów powieści Bohumila Hrabala pod tytułem Ostře sledované vlaky (polski tytuł Pociągi pod specjalnym nadzorem; tytuł angielski Closely Watched Trains), na wybranych przykładach (m.in. nazwy własne: imiona, nazwiska; nazwy miejscowe; skróty; porównania). I dochodzi do wniosku, że twórczość czeskiego pisarza wciąż inspiruje młodych tłumaczy do retranslacji, co może wskazywać, że jego recepcja w polskiej kulturze literackiej jest wciąż „żywa”.
