  The adjective post-German has been an element of the linguistic practice of subsequent generations of inhabitants of the "Recovered Territories" for decades. So far, however, the meaning given to this term has not been subjected to a deeper analysis. The author presents the semantic contexts of the functioning of post-German in academic discourse and analyzes the collected empirical material - interviews with the second and third generation of Wrocław residents - in terms of the meanings currently assigned to this concept. This article is a voice in the discussion on the perception and inclusion of the German heritage, still present in the areas annexed to Poland in 1945, into the identity of the inhabitants of these lands.;
  Przymiotnik poniemieckie jest od dekad elementem praktyki językowej kolejnych pokoleń mieszkańców „Ziem Odzyskanych”. Do tej pory nie zostały jednak poddane głębszej analizie znaczenia nadawane temu terminowi. Autorka przedstawia znaczeniowe konteksty funkcjonowania poniemieckiego w dyskursie akademickim oraz analizuje zebrany materiał empiryczny – wywiady z drugim i trzecim pokoleniem mieszkańców Wrocławia – pod kątem znaczeń nadawanych współcześnie temu pojęciu. Niniejszy artykuł jest głosem w dyskusji nad postrzeganiem i włączaniem do tożsamości mieszkańców tych ziem dziedzictwa niemieckiego, ciągle obecnego na terenach przyłączonych do Polski w 1945 roku.
