  THE QUESTION OF RESOLVING THE RUSSIAN REFUGEE PROBLEM IN THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS ACTIVITIES DURING THE PERIOD 1921–1930The article is devoted to the question of international cooperation within the League of Nations while resolving the Russian refugee problem in the period from 1921 to 1930. The article covers the major achievements and challenges of the international society in assisting Russian refugees. The main attention is paid to institutional, administrative and legislative methods of problemsolving, particularly establishment and activities of the High Commissioner for Russian Refugees as well as adoption of international agreements regarding the legal status of refugees. Apart from the aforementioned, the article gives an insight into international humanitarian efforts put intorelief action towards the refugees from Russia, specifically their employment and settlement.
