  In the article an attempt has been made to identify and characterizes the forms of activity of building enterprises enabling them realization of task outside the domestic market. Enterprises choose various paths of entering and stabilizing their presence on the foreign markets, both those skipping certain stages of internationalization and those characterized by varying sequences of those stages. It can also be observed that the majority of Polish firms realize most probably the passive strategies, and a frequent reason of their internationalization is the initiative of the overseas firms to operate on the Polish market.;
  W artykule podjęto próbę identyfikacji i charakterystyki form działalności przedsiębiorstw budowlanych, umożliwiających realizacje zadań poza rynkiem macierzystym. Przedsiębiorstwa wybierają różne ścieżki wchodzenia i stabilizowania swojej obecności na rynkach zagranicznych zarówno z pominięciem pewnych etapów internacjonalizacji lub z różną ich kolejnością. Można też zauważyć, że większość polskich przedsiębiorstw najprawdopodobniej realizuje pasywne strategie, a częstą przyczyną ich umiędzynarodowienia jest inicjatywa działających na polskim rynku przedsiębiorstw zagranicznych.
