  In the municipal government of Kielce the political situation but also the ethnic issues associated with the large Jewish minority inhabiting the city affected the distribution of political forces. Poles were afraid of the council being dominated by representatives of the Jewish community. The political right wing, having the strongest endorsement amongst the wealthy part of city dwellers, exploited these moods and thanks to that (among others factors) in the years 1919–1934  it dominated in the city council of Kielce. One should also remember about political pressures and manipulations on the part of the authorities of the state after 1926 which effected in distorting the outcomes of the local election, particularly from a perspective of appointments for the city council of Kielce in 1934.;
  Na układ sił politycznych w samorządzie miejskim Kielc miała wpływ sytuacja polityczna, ale także kwestie narodowościowe związane z liczną mniejszością żydowską zamieszkującą miasto. Polacy obawiali się zdominowania Rady Miejskiej Kielc przez przedstawicieli społeczności żydowskiej. Polityczna prawica, mając silne wpływy wśród zamożnej części mieszkańców miasta, wykorzystywała te nastroje i m.in. dzięki temu w latach 1919–1934 dominowała w Radzie Miejskiej Kielc. Należy również pamiętać o naciskach politycznych i manipulacjach ze strony władz państwowych po 1926 r., co miało wpływ na wypaczanie wyników wyborów samorządowych szczególnie z perspektywy wyborów do Rady Miejskiej Kielc w 1934 r.
