  The article is devoted to The Life of Saint Salome, written between the last decade of the thirteenth and the end of the fourteenth century. The article aims to elaborate on the work’s religious content and set it in the context of the hagiography of that time. The hagiographer mainly emphasised Salome’s lifelong (despite her marriage) virginity. Other topics brought up by the author include imitatio Christi, mysticism, and the royal dignity of this saint.;
  Przedmiotem artykułu jest Żywot św. Salomei, napisany między ostatnią dekadą XIII a końcem XIV w. Celem jest opracowanie zawartości religijnej utworu i osadzenie go w kontekście hagiografii tamtych czasów. Hagiograf kładł główny nacisk na dozgonne (mimo zawarcia małżeństwa) dziewictwo Salomei. Pojawiają się także inne wątki: imitatio Christi, mistycyzm i godność królewska świętej.
