  At the beginning of 1919, the Czechoslovak command and the commander of the Allied forces in Siberia, General Maurice Janin, decided to withdraw Czechoslovak troops from the anti-Soviet front. The Czechoslovak troops were directed to cover the Trans-Siberian Railway, and their task was to fight against the Soviet partisans in Siberia and to secure supplies for the troops of Admiral Aleksander Kolchak. There has also been a reorganization and changes in the structure and armaments were supplemented. This led to the fact that the Czechoslovak troops managed to take control of the situation for a long time and not only efficiently protect the Trans-Siberian Railroad, but also largely ensure its efficiency and communication capacity. Czechoslovakian troops – after reinforcement of their forces by Polish, Romanian, Latvian, Yugoslav and Russian units – increased their engagement and began a period of fighting in the protection of the Transsiberian Railway against the Soviet partisans. This article addresses these issues. ;
  Na początku 1919 r. dowództwo czechosłowackie i głównodowodzący siłami alianckimi na Syberii gen. Maurice Janin podjęli decyzję o wycofaniu wojsk czechosłowackich z frontu antysowieckiego. Oddziały czechosłowackie zostały skierowane do osłony Kolei Transsyberyjskiej, a ich zadaniem była walka przeciwko partyzantce sowieckiej na Syberii oraz zabezpieczenie dostaw zaopatrzenia dla wojsk adm. Aleksandra Kołczaka. Doszło również do reorganizacji wojsk czechosłowackich i zmian w strukturze oraz do uzupełnienia uzbrojenia. Doprowadziło to do tego, że wojskom tym udało się na długo opanować sytuację i nie tylko dobrze chronić magistralę transsyberyjską, ale również zapewnić jej sprawność i drożność komunikacyjną. Oddziały czechosłowackie – po wzmocnieniach swych sił przez jednostki polskie, rumuńskie, łotewskie, jugosłowiańskie i rosyjskie – zwiększyły swoje zaangażowanie i rozpoczęły okres walk w osłonie Kolei Transsyberyjskiej przeciwko partyzantce sowieckiej. Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy wspomnianych kwestii.
