  Przedmiotem analizy są trzy podejścia do edukacji we współczesnej pedagogice chrześcijańskiej w Polsce, dla których centralną kategorią stały się odpowiadające im idee: 1) idea uniwersalizmu; 2) idea holizmu i 3) idea post- i interdyscyplinarności nauk pedagogicznych. Autor charakteryzuje wkład polskiej myśli pedagogicznej oraz wybranych dokonań uczonych do budowania pedagogiki jedności w świecie.
