  The road lane, and in particular the public road are included in the so-called public roads. Without in-depth research, it can be said that they are the most widely used public infrastructure device. The protection of the road lane is primarily associated with administrative-legal solutions and forms a characteristic model of liability inherent in this branch of law. In this study, the authors, using the dogmatic-legal method, analyze the issues related to the protection of the road lane and the possibility of imposing fines related to violations of the rules of using the road lane.   Pas drogowy, a w szczególności droga publiczna są zaliczane do tzw. dróg publicznych. Bez pogłębionych badań można stwierdzić, że są najczęściej wykorzystywanym urządzeniem infrastruktury publicznej. Ochrona pasa drogowego jest związana przede wszystkim z rozwiązaniami administracyjnoprawnym i tworzy charakterystyczny model odpowiedzialności właściwy dla tej gałęzi prawa. W niniejszym opracowaniu autorzy przy zastosowaniu metody dogmatyczno-prawnej analizują kwestie związane z ochroną pasa drogowego oraz możliwości nałożenia kar pieniężnych związanych z naruszeniem zasad korzystania z pasa drogowego.
