  The paper presents a hitherto little known document from the Berlin-Lichterfelde Federal Archive (Bundesarchiv): a report on the 1940 racial examination of a select group of Kashubians from the district of Kartuzy (Ger. Karthaus). The examination was conducted by members of the SS on orders from the Waffen-SS Office for Reinforcements. Presented in the German original and analysed, the document serves as an example of the policies of the German occupation administration towards Pomerania’s Kashubian population, the way it was perceived and treated, and what plans were in play with regard to it.;
  Artykuł przedstawia mało dotąd znany dokument ze zbiorów Archiwum Federalnego (Bundesarchiv) w Berlinie-Lichterfelde – raport z przeprowadzonego na początku 1940 r. badania rasowego wyselekcjonowanej grupy Kaszubów z powiatu kartuskiego. Badania przeprowadzili funkcjonariusze SS na zlecenie Urzędu Uzupełnień Kadrowych Waffen-SS (Ergänzungsamt der Waffen-SS). Przedstawiony w oryginale (w jęz. niemieckim) i opracowany dokument jest jednym z przykładów polityki niemieckiego aparatu okupacyjnego wobec kaszubskiej ludności Pomorza, jej postrzegania, traktowania i snucia związanych z nią planów.
