  The article is an attempt to compare the names of Czech and Polish cafés and confectioneries located in towns with between 10,000 and 20,000 people. In the first place, the Polish lexems kawiarnia and cukiernia as well as the Czech kavárna and cukrárna in terms of their semantic capacity are compared. The main part of the analysis includes 180 Czech and Polish urbochrematonims studied in terms of their structure, onomastic motivation and values promoted in names, inter alia using previous publications written by Patrik Mitter, Zuzana Hlubinková, Adam Siwiec and Artur Gałkowski. The analysis shows inter alia numerous similarities in the naming of Czech and Polish places serving coffee, as well as the impact of urbochrematonims present in large cities on smaller urban centers.;
  Artykuł stanowi próbę porównania nazw czeskich i polskich kawiarni oraz cukierni znajdujących się w miastach liczących od 10 000 do 20 000 mieszkańców. W pierwszej kolejności zestawione zostają polskie określenia kawiarnia i cukiernia oraz czeskie kavárna i cukrárna pod kątem ich pojemności semantycznej. Główna część analizy obejmuje 180 czeskich i polskich urbochrematonimów badanych pod względem ich struktury, motywacji onomastycznej oraz promowanych w nazwach wartości, m.in. z wykorzystaniem wcześniejszych publikacji autorstwa Patrika Mittera, Zuzany Hlubinkovej, Adama Siwca czy Artura Gałkowskiego. Analiza wykazuje m.in. liczne podobieństwa w nazewnictwie czeskich i polskich lokali serwujących kawę, a także wpływ urbochrematonimów obecnych w dużych miastach na mniejsze ośrodki miejskie.
