  In the article the author follows the approach of such researchers as, for example, Richard Arends, Robyn M.Gilles towards the values of heterogeneous groups in terms of pupils’ acquiring certain knowledge and in terms of developing certain social skills. Cooperation developed in the mixed groups between the fit pupils and those with special educational needs. It needs a better insight whether this cooperation could be more efficient.;
