  Revitalization of post-industrial urban areas is essential for public space transitions as it can contribute to modification of historically formed hierarchy of central space of current European cities. In order to identification of the repercussions of this processes the Author applied his own method concerned on evaluating the intensity of morphological and functional transformation of post-industrial sites as well as changes in the level of the development and the integrity of public space structure in central space.;
  Rewitalizacja terenów poprzemysłowych ma zasadnicze znaczenie dla przekształceń przestrzeni publicznej i może prowadzić do modyfikacji historycznie wykształconej hierarchii terenów współtworzących przestrzeń centralną współczesnych miast europejskich. W celu identyfikacji reperkusji rewitalizacji w świetle postawionego problemu badawczego wykorzystano autorską metodę oceny intensywności przekształceń morfologiczno-funkcjonalnych terenów poprzemysłowych oraz zmian poziomu rozwoju i integralności struktury przestrzeni publicznej nowej i starej przestrzeni centralnej.
