  The paper constitutes an attempt to reconstruct the moral and ethical views of Christopher Celestin Mrongovius, crystallized in the period of his stay in Königsberg, where he was a student of the local University of Königsberg, known as the Albertine, and the disciple of Kant. The religious current of pietism, at that time still exerting a significant impact on the atmosphere of intellectual life of both Königsberg and the Albertine, became an important component of the spiritual formation of young Mrongovius.This influence is also evident in the later sermons preached by Reverend Mrongovius. However, the fact of  making a translation into Polish in his declining years and publishing notes of the Königsberg lectures,  edited as “A Philosophical Dissertation on Religion and Morality” by Kant, proves the fidelity of the Danzig preacher towards the moral teachings of his most famous teacher, and the intention of bequeathing the publication to his fellow countrymen as a form of spiritual testament.   ;
  Referat stanowi próbę rekonstrukcji poglądów moralnych i etycznych Krzysztofa Celestyna Mrongowiusza, skrystalizowanych w okresie pobytu w Królewcu, gdzie był studentem tamtejszej Albertyny i uczniem Kanta. Ważnym składnikiem duchowej formacji młodego Mrongowiusza stał się religijny nurt pietyzmu, wywierający w ówczesnych czasach jeszcze znaczny wpływ na atmosferę życia  umysłowego zarówno Królewca jak i Albertyny. Wpływ ten widoczny jest także w późniejszych głoszonych przez pastora Mrongowiusza kazaniach. Natomiast fakt dokonanego u schyłku życia przekładu na język polski i publikacji w Gdańsku notatek z królewieckich wykładów wydanych jako „Rozprawa filozoficzna o religii i moralności” Kanta świadczy o wierności gdańskiego kaznodziei wobec nauki moralnej swego najsłynniejszego nauczyciela i zamiarze przekazania jej rodakom jako rodzaj duchowego testamentu.
