  The subject of this article are considerations on cloud gaming from the perspective of private international law. Definition and essence of cloud gaming service were discussed, as well as the reasons for its growing popularity. Author determines the place of performance of the contract, national jurisdiction and law applicableto the contract of cloud gaming services, using the achievements of the doctrine in the field of international law and cloud-based services due to the similar nature of these services. EU legal acts regulating the international legal aspects of contracts for the provision of services were analysed. Author defines the place of performance of the contract for the sale of a digital copy of a computer game sold in cloud distribution.;
  Przedmiotem artykułu są rozważania na temat cloud gaming z perspektywy prawa prywatnego międzynarodowego. Omówiona została definicja i istota usługi grania w chmurze, a także przyczyny jej rosnącej popularności wśród graczy. Autor przede wszystkim dąży do ustalenia miejsca wykonania umowy, jurysdykcji krajowej oraz prawa właściwego dla umowy o świadczenie usługi grania w chmurze, posiłkując się w tym celu dorobkiem doktryny z zakresu prawa międzynarodowego oraz usług opartych na chmurze obliczeniowej ze względu na zbliżony rodzajowo charakter tych usług. Analizie poddane zostały unijne akty prawne regulujące prawnomiędzynarodowe aspekty umów o świadczenie usług, z naciskiem na zapisy zawierające wzmocnioną ochronę prawną dla konsumentów. Autor podjął próbę zdefiniowania miejsca wykonania umowy sprzedaży cyfrowego egzemplarza gry komputerowej w przypadku dystrybucji w chmurze.
