  The work is devoted to the author’s footnotes by Zygmunt Krasiński in dramas and narrative poems. They served as explanations needed primarily for explication of the poet’s historiosophical views, which sometimes proved harmful to their factographic value. Some of them have high literary value. They all make it necessary for an editor to create “footnotes to footnotes”, in order to explain their nature to the reader, and correct intentional and unintentional mistakes.;
  Artykuł jest poświęcony autorskim przypisom Zygmunta Krasińskiego w dramatach i poematach. Były to objaśnienia potrzebne przede wszystkim do eksplikacji poglądów historiozoficznych poety, co czasem szkodziło ich faktograficznej zawartości. Niektóre z nich mają dużą wartość literacką. Wszystkie stwarzają dla edytora konieczność tworzenia „przypisów do przypisów”, aby wyjaśnić czytelnikowi ich charakter i sprostować zamierzone i niezamierzona błędy.
