  The article discusses the theology of holiness according to one of the most eminent contemporary Orthodox theologians, working in exile, associated with the Institute of St. Sergius in Paris, Pavel Evdokimov. In the fi rst part, based on the Bible and patristic tradition, the article describes one thing: the holiness of God. Then, it introduces the anthropological aspect of God’s holiness: man, who, according to the intention of his Creator, is invited to participate in His unique holiness. The place of response to the invitation is the Church, where every baptized person realises his or her vocation to holiness.;
  Artykuł podejmuje temat teologii świętości w ujęciu jednego z najwybitniejszych teologów współczesnych, tworzących na emigracji, związanych z paryskim Instytutem św. Sergiusza, Pawła Ewdokimowa. W pierwszej części, w oparciu o Biblię i Tradycję patrystyczną, opisuje jedyną – świętość Boga. Następnie w świętość Boga wprowadza aspekt antropologiczny: człowieka, który według zamysłu swego Stwórcy, zaproszony jest do udziału w świętości Boga. Miejscem odpowiedzi na zaproszenie jest Kościół, w którym każdy ochrzczony realizuje swoje powołanie do świętości.
