  The article describes the first research contributions to the use of Andrzej Wierzbicki’s historiographic achievements in management studies. These contributions are in the form of bachelor’s and master’s theses by students of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, created as part of the activities of the Center for Organizational History at this Faculty. The first part of the article indicates the main points of interaction between historical studies and management studies in the world and in Poland.
