Opisano także najważniejsze narzędzia, jakimi posługiwano się łamiąc prawo. W toku kwerendy przeanalizowano liczne materiały źródłowe, takie jak: sprawozdania wojewody białostockiego, prasę codzienną i prasę specjalistyczną.
