This article aims to reconstruct the vision of history to be found in textbooks of the political economy of socialism. The author treats the textbooks of political economy as a medium of Communist Poland’s official historical narrative. Truth ‘produced’ by means of the educational materials seems to be a perfect exemplification of Michel Foucault’s ideas regarding the knowledge/power relation. In his analysis of the textbooks under discussion, the author uses mainly the issues of stimuli. What emerges from the analysis is a picture of a devious reality in which students of the Polish Peoples republic period were forced to exist, also in the aspect of the propaganda’s vision of the current history of Poland.;
Artykuł wstępnie opisuje wizję historii prezentowaną w podręcznikach ekonomii politycznej socjalizmu, które zostały potraktowane jako nośniki oficjalnej narracji czasów PRL w aspekcie koncepcji historiograficznych. Prawda „produkowana” za pośrednictwem materiałów dydaktycznych wydaje się być wyrazistym przykładem propozycji koncepcyjnej Michela Foucaulta dotyczącej związku wiedzy i władzy. W analizie podręczników autor skupia się przede wszystkim na problematyce bodźców. Wspomniana analiza ukazuje obraz pokrętnej rzeczywistości, w której studenci okresu PRL zmuszeni byli egzystować, także w aspekcie propagandowej wizji najnowszych dziejów Polski.
