  The purpose of this article is to analyze the effectiveness of measures that are being taken in Germany and Poland to carry out the greening of agriculture in accordance with the European Green Deal. Challenges and constraints to the implementation of climate-environmental goals in the agriculture of both countries will be discussed. In the first part, the concept of organic agriculture is explained, pointing out the advantages, as well as the weaknesses and differences from intensive agriculture. Then the agricultural sector in Germany and Poland was generally characterized. In the following section, attention was paid to the similarities and differences that exist, as well as the ease or difficulty of carrying out greening, which is assumed by European Green Deal. The article refers to the strategic plans adopted in Germany and Poland for the Common Agricultural Policy. The adopted research hypothesis assumes that Germany and Poland significantly differ in the level of ambition in the implementation of EU environmental goals, which is a derivative of the economic and social conditions of agriculture in both countries, which determine the tasks set, and thus the pace and scope of implementation of the green transition.;
  Celem artykułu jest analiza skuteczności działań, które są podejmowane w Niemczech i w Polsce, aby przeprowadzić ekologizację rolnictwa zgodnie z założeniami Europejskiego Zielonego Ładu. Omówione zostaną wyzwania oraz ograniczenia związane z realizacją celów klimatyczno-środowiskowych w rolnictwie obu państw. W pierwszej części wyjaśniono koncepcję rolnictwa ekologicznego, wskazując zalety, jak i słabości oraz różnice względem rolnictwa intensywnego. Następnie ogólnie scharakteryzowano sektor rolny w Niemczech i Polsce. W dalszej kolejności zwrócono uwagę na występujące podobieństwa i różnice, a także łatwość lub trudność w przeprowadzeniu ekologizacji, którą zakłada EZŁ. W artykule odniesiono się do przyjętych w Niemczech i Polsce planów strategicznych dla Wspólnej Polityki Rolnej. Przyjęta hipoteza badawcza zakłada, że Niemcy i Polska znacząco różnią się poziomem ambicji przy realizacji unijnych celów środowiskowych, co jest pochodną uwarunkowań ekonomicznych i społecznych rolnictwa w obu państwach, które determinują wyznaczane zadania, a tym samym tempo i zakres wdrażania zielonej transformacji.
