  Der Beitrag fokussiert am Beispiel ausgewählter süddeutscher Städte die Probleme und Chancen für die urbane und gesellschaftliche Entwicklung (in einer weltlich-geistlichen Gemengelage von Privilegien) von Stadtbezirken. Gingen die Uhren in immunitätsdurchsetzten Städten der Frühen Neuzeit anders als in Siedlungen mit homogener Regimentsstruktur? Als Beispiele wurden die Bischofsstadt Bamberg und die Reichsstädte Augsburg und Regensburg gewählt. Die drei Städte ähneln sich seit dem Mittelalter in ihrer urbanen Struktur. Das öffentliche Leben und die Stadttopografie entwickelte sich dort zugleich in sakralen und profanen „Zonen“ und die jeweilige Ratsherrschaft endete an den Grenzen der Immunitäten (oder konnte sich dort nur in veränderter Form fortsetzen).;
  Three Cities and their Church Immunities: Augsburg, Bamberg and Regensburg after the ReformationThe article addresses the problems and opportunities generated by the urban and social development of cities which were granted various kinds of secular and religious privileges. The author presents the issue on the example of selected cities in Southern Germany. Did clocks work differently in early-modern towns enjoying various secular and religious privileges than in the settlements which had a homogenous structure of power? The bishop’s city of Bamberg and the cities of the Reich – Augsburg and Regensburg served as examples here. Since the Middle Ages those three cities had become similar in terms of their urban layout. Public life and urban topography developed there both in the sacred and secular areas; the city’s authority was limited by immunities (or it was continued in a changed form).;

Augsburg, Bamberg und Regensburg po reformacjiW artykule ukazane zostały na przykładzie wybranych miast południowoniemieckich problemy i szanse urbanistycznego oraz społecznego rozwoju okręgów miejskich posiadających różnego rodzaju świeckie i kościelne przywileje. Czy w miastach nowożytnych wyposażonych w immunitety „zegary chodziły“ inaczej, niż w osadach o homogenicznej strukturze władzy? Jako przykłady wybrane zostały miasto biskupie Bamberg oraz miasta Rzeszy Augsburg i Ratyzbona. Te trzy ośrodki upodabniały się od średniowiecza pod względem struktury urbanistycznej. Życie publiczne i topografia miejska rozwijały się tam jednocześnie w „strefach“ sakralnych i świeckich, a władza miejska kończyła się na granicy immunitetów (lub była kontynuowana w zmienionej formie).
