  In the last years system transformation of the university led to the emergence of a new career model and the change of professional strategy of young academics. Forced to the competition in a context of professional instability and contradictorial requirements, young scholars are less and less interested in other forms of activities than research itself. First of all, the interest in teaching gradually diminishes, consequently it threatens the imbalance between high quality of research and teaching, which is the essence of University. The development of didactic model of academic career, attractive for young scholars may be the a kind of remedy.;
  Zmiany systemowe w polskiej nauce doprowadziły do powstania nowego modelu kariery i zmiany preferowanych strategii zawodowych młodych naukowcow. Zmuszeni do ciągłej rywalizacji w warunkach niestabilności zatrudnienia i sprzecznych wymagań ze strony instytucji oceniających (nauka versus dydaktyka), młodzi badacze są coraz mniej zaangażowani w działalność inną niż naukowa. Zmniejsza się także ich zainteresowanie aktywnością dydaktyczną i grozi zachwianiem równowagi między wysokiej jakości badaniami a dydaktyką, stanowiącej fundament uniwersytetu, a także utratą przez uniwersytet jego funkcji krytycznej. Jednym ze środków zaradczych może być dowartościowanie ścieżki dydaktycznej na uczelniach.
