Autor tego artykułu przedstawił bogatą historię kultu relikwii od czasów pogańskich do czasów współczesnych, a także zwrócił uwagę, że chrześcijański kult świętych i ich relikwii pojawił się dopiero po śmierci dwunastu Apostołów. I jest on wciąż aktualny oraz sensowny.
