Founded in 1989 as Archiwum Informatyki Teoretycznej i Stosowanej, Theoretical and Applied Informatics (TAAI) was a scientific, peer-reviewed and open access journal. TAAI published features high-quality research results in the full scope of computer science, including: foundations of computer science, software engineering, computer graphics, image processing, computer networks, quantum information theory, and bioinformatics. The journal was published using Open Access formula. Coverage: 2006-2017 (Vol. 17, No. 1 - Vol. 29, No. 1-2) Publication of this title ceased in 2017.;
