  This publication aims to bring the current problem of older people who lose their value and dignity in the era of today's inventions and technological development. However, this stereotype of the old man in the modern world is false, as the sense of old age, with deeper reflection, is impossible to be overlooked. Recognizing that so many elderly people feel lost, find it difficult to find their place in the present reality, it seems right to show the Christian meaning of this stage of life. First, the image of the old man was presented in the Bible as a contradiction to modern stereotypes. And because old age is marked by suffering and brings you closer to the Lord, therefore it was also important to show the sense of suffering as a participation in Christ's Passion, Death and Resurrection, as well as the path leading to a meeting with Him.;
  Niniejsza publikacja ma na celu przybliżyć aktualny problem ludzi starszych, którzy w dobie dzisiejszych wynalazków i rozwoju techniki tracą swoją wartość i godność. Jednak ten stereotyp człowieka starego we współczesnym świecie jest błędny,  jako że sensu starości, przy głębszej refleksji, nie sposób przeoczyć. Dostrzegając jak wiele jest zagubionych osób starszych, którym trudno odnaleźć się w obecnej rzeczywistości, słuszne wydaje się ukazanie chrześcijańskiego sensu tego etapu życia. W punkcie wyjścia został przedstawiony obraz człowieka starego w Piśmie Świętym, jako zaprzeczenie współczesnym stereotypom. A ponieważ starość naznaczona jest cierpieniem i zbliża na spotkanie z Panem, dlatego ważnym aspektem było również ukazanie sensu cierpienia jako współuczestnictwa w męce, śmierci i zmartwychwstaniu Chrystusa, jak też drogi prowadzącej na spotkanie z Nim.
