The work is dedicated to the ways of critically portraying reality in Poland in the weekly „Kaktus” during the Poznań International Fair from 1957 to 1960. The publication emerged during the Polish thaw/Gomułka’s thaw period and was issued in Poznań for four years. The aim of the article was to examine whether the satirical format allowed the authors to use this event to assess the political/economical situation.;
Praca poświęcona jest sposobom krytycznego obrazowania rzeczywistości w Polsce na łamach tygodnika „Kaktus” podczas Międzynarodowych Targów Poznańskich w latach 1957–1960. Pismo powstało w okresie „odwilży” i przez 4 lata ukazywało się w Poznaniu. Celem artykułu było zbadanie, czy satyryczna formuła umożliwiała autorom wykorzystanie tej największej handlowej imprezy w kraju do oceny sytuacji w kraju.
