  Urban station in Cracow was organized to meet the needs of meteo data connected to air quality problems. Station comprises an operational block and a research block. The rust one conducts routine observations with use of 2 automatic stations, a vertical sodar and a 3-beam Doppler Sodar. The tasks are: monitoring of dispersion conditions and data supply for public information; creation of data files for dispersion modelling. The research block conducts different kinds of studies in Boundary Layer Meteorology.
