Artykuł omawia historię kolekcji numizmatycznej berlińskiej linii Radziwiłłów i jej ewentualnych losów: powstania, dziejów i tajemnicy zniknięcia. Przedstawiono także tajemniczą historię zbioru monet rosyjskich „z kolekcji księcia Radziwiłła”, który od lat 90. XX w. krąży na rosyjskim rynku numizmatycznym – autor rozważa, czy jest on powiązany z berlińską kolekcją numizmatyczną Radziwiłłów.
