The article is devoted to the Polish edition of historical sources to the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from 1667 to 1710, Epistolae historico-familiares (vols 1–3, Brunsbergae 1709–1711; vol. 4, Vratislaviae 1761). The article’s author discusses the primary content of the work, the quality of the editorial work and the source value of the material contained in it. Particular attention is paid to the fictional letters and accounts of Andrzej Chryzostom Załuski, created by him for the purposes of the publication. Based on the scholarly literature and the surviving fragmentary working versions of the work, the indications of their preparation by Załuski are shown.;
Artykuł poświęcony jest polskiemu wydawnictwu źródeł historycznych dotyczących dziejów Rzeczypospolitej lat 1667–1710 Epistolae historico-familiares (t. 1–3, Brunsbergae 1709–1711; t. 4, Vratislaviae 1761). Omówiono podstawową zawartość dzieła, jakość opracowania redakcyjnego i wartość źródłową zawartych w nim materiałów. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na obecne w Epistolae historico-familiares fikcyjne listy i relacje Andrzeja Chryzostoma Załuskiego stworzone przez niego na potrzeby wydawnictwa. Na podstawie literatury naukowej i zachowanych roboczych, fragmentarycznych wersji dzieła ukazano przejawy ich preparowania przez Załuskiego.
