  The Theological Arguments for the Correctness
of the Dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

  The article focuses on the issues of theological correctness of conformity of the Dogma of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Polish theological literature from 1950 to 1965 is the source material for the analysed issue. Having studied it thoroughly one could notice that Mariologists proved the Assumption on the basis of other Mariological dogmas such as Mary's Motherhood of God and the Perpetual Virginity. What is more, they justified the truth discussed in the article referring to the phrase „full of grace” and to the relics of the Virgin Mary. Analysing the conclusions of Polish Mariologists, one may notice that they have been based on the Holy Bible and on the tradition of the Church. This in turn leads to the enrichment of Mariological research by the teachings of Fathers and doctors of the Church. In their analysis they also derive from the Munificentissimus Deus which is the repository of knowledge of the discussed issues. It is also worth noticing that the Polish Mariology is open to the foreign theological thought, and what is more, it uses its richness by presenting its own thought. This is a significant part of the developement of the disccused issues.;
  W artykule została poruszona problematyka teologicznych racji odpowiedniości dogmatu Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Materiał źródłowy analizowanej kwestii stanowi wybrana polska literatura teologiczna w okresie od uroczystego ogłoszenia Wniebowzięcia (1.11.1950 r.) do 1965 r. Zgłębiając ją można zauważyć, iż mariolodzy dowodzili faktu Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w oparciu o inne mariologiczne dogmaty takie jak Boże Macierzyństwo i Dziewictwo. Oprócz tego uzasadniali zgłębianą w artykule prawdę na kanwie zwrotu „łaski pełna” i relikwii Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Badając wnioski polskich mariologów można zauważyć, iż są one budowane w oparciu o Pismo Święte, a także o Tradycję Kościoła co doprowadza do ubogacenia naukowego warsztatu mariologicznego o nauczanie m. in. Ojców i doktorów Kościoła. W swych analizach opierają się także na Konstytucji Munificentissimus Deus, która stanowi ogromne bogactwo dla zgłębianej w  artykule problematyki. Oprócz tego, badając polską mariologię, zauważa się, iż nie zamyka się ona na zagraniczną myśl teologiczną ale twórczo czerpie z jej bogactwa prezentując swoje tezy, które z kolei stanowią wkład w rozwój zagadnienia.
