  This article analyses the contents of archival documentation of the party organisation at the Medical Academy. The study aims to trace, in this specific environment, the party’s impact on the Academy staff, primarily the research personnel, and on the authorities themselves. It spans the period from the establishment of the Academy until the last years when the documentation of the University Committee survives, i.e. until 1986.;
  Artykuł przedstawia analizę treści dokumentacji archiwalnej uczelnianej organizacji PZPR w Akademii Medycznej. Celem badawczym było prześledzenie w tym specyficznym środowisku wpływu partii zarówno na pracowników uczelni, zwłaszcza kadrę naukową, jak i na jej władze od momentu powstania Akademii do ostatnich lat, gdy zachowała się dokumentacja Komitetu Uczelnianego, tj. do 1986 r.
