  The aim of the article is to analyze the social programs introduced by the Law and Justice government in Poland in 2015–2023, focusing on their impact on the management of the country’s economy. Through the prism of the selected social programs, the article assesses whether their implementation brought the intended success in reducing poverty and improving living conditions, or whether it contributed to the emergence of new challenges, e.g. the economic crisis. One of the key examples used by the article’s author is the “500 plus” program, which has generated not only huge costs for the country, but also – around which a number of myths have emerged such as that women are dropping out of the labor force in huge numbers after taking advantage of its benefits.;
  Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy programów socjalnych wprowadzonych przez rząd Prawa i Sprawiedliwości w Polsce w latach 2015–2023, skupiając się na ich wpływie na zarządzanie ekonomią kraju. Artykuł ocenia, czy implementacja programów socjalnych przyczyniła się do sukcesu w zakresie redukcji ubóstwa i poprawy warunków życia, czy też doprowadziła do powstania nowych wyzwań, takich jak kryzys gospodarczy. Jednym z kluczowych przykładów jest program „500 plus”, który generował ogromne koszty dla kraju, a także był źródłem licznych mitów, takich jak twierdzenie, że kobiety masowo rezygnują z pracy po skorzystaniu z jego benefitów.
