  Innovations of the SME’s sector drives the economy by generating half of GDP. Its advantage is the ease of response to the opportunities and threats from the environment. Barrier to rapid response may be limited by the lack their own financial resources. The article presents preferences enterprises of Kuyavian-Pomeranian in choosing the funding sources, determinants and barriers to obtaining resources and prospects for development of ways of financing future activities. Was presented the results of the analysis regarding the the changes in the availability of external measures for SMEs as a result of the economic crisis and their impact on the structure of financing and the search for alternative sources.;
  Innowacyjność małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw, których przewagą jest łatwość reagowania na szanse i zagrożenia z otoczenia, napędza polską gospodarkę. Barierę szybkiej reakcji mogą stanowić ograniczone własne zasoby finansowe. Artykuł prezentuje preferencje przedsiębiorstw Pomorza i Kujaw w wyborze źródeł finansowania, determinanty i bariery pozyskania środków oraz perspektywy finansowania przyszłych działań. Zawarto w nim analizę zmian w dostępności środków zewnętrznych dla MSP na skutek kryzysu gospodarczego i ich wpływ na strukturę finansowania oraz poszukiwanie źródeł alternatywnych.
