  The authors dedicate their text to the memory of prof. Józef Półturzycki, recalling his contribution as the author, editor-in-chief of the “Andragogical Yearbook” and the inspirer of activities aimed at preserving the knowledge of folk high schools in the social (and scientific) memory from the 1990s to the second decade of the 21st century, i.e. at the time when these institutions were almost forgotten. The sketch touches on selected threads regarding the renewal of the Polish folk high schools movement on the basis of the Folk High Schools Development Programme for 2020–2030 and the Polish Network of Folk High Schools (OSUL) established several years ago, and was created on the basis of the participation of both authors in the 1st National Festival of Folk High Schools in Koszałkowo in the summer of 2022.;
  Autorzy dedykują swój tekst pamięci prof. Józefa Półturzyckiego, przypominając jego wkład jako autora, redaktora naczelnego „Rocznika Andragogicznego” i inspiratora działań na rzecz przechowania w społecznej (i naukowej) pamięci wiedzy o uniwersytetach ludowych od lat 90. XX do drugiej dekady XXI w., czyli w czasach, gdy placówki te zostały niemal zapomniane. W szkicu poruszono wybrane wątki dotyczące odnowy polskiego ruchu uniwersytetów ludowych, dokonującej się w związku z uruchomieniem Programu Wspierania Rozwoju Uniwersytetów Ludowych na lata 2020–2030 oraz powstaniem przed kilku laty Ogólnopolskiej Sieci Uniwersytetów Ludowych (OSUL). Inspiracją do podjęcia tej problematyki był udział obojga autorów w ogólnopolskim I Festiwalu Uniwersytetów Ludowych w Koszałkowie latem 2022 r.
