  The aim of this article is to propose a coherent definition of the phenomenon of ludonarrative dissonance based on the original blog post by Clint Hocking from 2007. In this paper I also discuss the difference between ludonarrative dissonance and my new concept of metanarrative dissonance. I used selected video games to illustrate both phenomena. The article serves as an introduction to further research on the impact of ludonarrative and metanarrative dissonance on the reception of video games.;
  Celem artykułu jest zaproponowanie spójnej definicji zjawiska dysonansu ludonarracyjnego na podstawie wpisu na blogu Clinta Hockinga z 2007 roku. W tekście omawiam także różnicę pomiędzy dysonansem ludonarracyjnym a zaproponowanym przeze mnie nowym pojęciem dysonansu metanarracyjnego. W celu zilustrowania obu zjawisk posłużyłem się wybranymi grami komputerowymi. Artykuł stanowi wstęp do dalszych badań nad wpływem dysonansu ludonarracyjnego i metanarracyjnego na odbiór gier.
