The article examines the attitude of the clergy of Minsk’s Roman Catholic Diocese and the population to the administrative-territorial reorganisations that took place during the entry of these territories into the Russian Empire. The author has identified four periods of the changes in the subordination of the Minsk region. Compared with the reorganisation of diocesan units of other Christian denominations, changes in the administrative-territorial obedience of the Minsk Roman Catholic diocese depended not only on the decisions of state authorities but also had to agree with the Pope. Another feature was the transfer of the diocese to the administration of others without its territorial fragmentation. This positively affected the possibility of resuming the activities of the Roman Catholic diocese of Minsk.;
Artykuł analizuje stosunek ludności i duchowieństwa mińskiej diecezji rzymskokatolickiej do zmian administracyjno-terytorialnych, które miały miejsce po wcieleniu tych terenów do Imperium Rosyjskiego. Autorka wyodrębniła cztery okresy zmian podporządkowania administracyjnego ziemi mińskiej. W przeciwieństwie do reorganizacji jednostek diecezjalnych innych wyznań chrześcijańskich, zmiany administracyjno-terytorialne mińskiej diecezji rzymskokatolickiej zależały nie tylko od decyzji władz państwowych, lecz musiały być również uzgadniane z papieżem. Inną cechą szczególną było przekazanie diecezji w administrowanie innym podmiotom bez jej terytorialnego rozdrobnienia, co umożliwiło wznowienie działalności rzymskokatolickiej diecezji mińskiej.
