  In diesem Artikel wollen wir untersuchen, wie der heilige Thomas zwei Verse der Heiligen Schrift über Christus miteinander in Einklang bringt, die sich auf den ersten Blick zu widersprechen scheinen. Der erste bekräftigt auf mystische Weise, dass "du schöner bist als die Menschenkinder" (Ps 44,3), der zweite, dass "er keine Gestalt und keine Schönheit hat" (Jes 53,2). Der Vergleich dieser Kommentare offenbart eine ursprüngliche kenotische Lesart, die sich von den im zwanzigsten Jahrhundert entwickelten Lesarten unterscheidet.;
  This article aims to examine how St Thomas reconciles two verses of Scripture about Christ, which, at first sight, seem to contradict each other. The first one mystically affirms that . Thou art fairer than the children of men . (Ps 44:3), the other that . he hath no form nor comeliness . (Is 53:2). The comparison of these commentaries will reveal an original kenotic reading, both similar to and different from those developed in the twentieth century.  ;
  En este artículo examinaremos el modo en que Santo Tomás concilia dos versículos de la Escritura sobre Cristo que, a primera vista, parecen contradecirse. El primero afirma místicamente que "eres más hermoso que los hijos de los hombres" (Sal 44,3), el segundo que "no tiene forma ni hermosura" (Is 53,2). La comparación de estos comentarios revelará una lectura kenótica original, a la vez similar y diferente de las desarrolladas en el siglo XX.;
  Nous examinerons, dans cet article, la manière dont saint Thomas concilie deux versets de l’Écriture au sujet du Christ qui semblent, au premier abord, se contredire. Le premier affirme mystiquement qu’« il est le plus beau des enfants des hommes » (Ps 44, 3), le second « qu’il n’avait ni beauté ni éclat » (Is 53, 2). La confrontation de ces commentaires fera apparaître une lecture kénotique originale, à la fois proche et différente de celles qui ont été développées au xxe siècle.;
  In questo articolo esamineremo il modo in cui San Tommaso concilia due versetti della Scrittura su Cristo che, a prima vista, sembrano contraddirsi. Il primo afferma misticamente che "Tu sei più bello dei figli degli uomini" (Sal 44,3), il secondo che "Egli non ha forma né bellezza" (Is 53,2). Il confronto di questi commenti rivelerà una lettura kenotica originale, simile e diversa da quelle sviluppate nel XX secolo.;
  W tym artykule przeanalizujemy sposób, w jaki św. Tomasz godzi dwa wersety Pisma Świętego o Chrystusie, które na pierwszy rzut oka wydają się sobie zaprzeczać. Pierwszy mistycznie potwierdza, że "jesteś sprawiedliwszy niż synowie ludzcy" (Ps 44:3), a drugi, że "nie ma On kształtu ani piękności" (Iz 53:2). Porównanie tych komentarzy ujawni oryginalną lekturę kenotyczną, zarówno podobną, jak i różniącą się od tych opracowanych w XX wieku.
