  Doubtlessly, the actual development of science influences our view of the world. Consequently, changes of that view provoke theology to assume an attitude (i.e. to enter into dialogue) and to give an account of its deposit – as to the questions where that deposit has some interaction with science. Of course, such a dialogue is highly valuable for theology, since it favours a purification of its thesis from everything what does not belong to its essence.What is more, such a dialogue involves largely philosophy, because, inevitably, it takes place in a metaphysical sphere determined in advance. Thanks to that configuration, the research of agreement between science and religion results not only in determining the competences of each of them (domain purification) but also in description of the relations of God to the world. Unfortunately, within such a dialogue, classical metaphysical models are vastly employed, whereas the Christianity has modified them, thanks to its doctrinal assumptions, especially the Trinitarian dogma. Subsequently, a question arises, whether the dialogue between religion and science should take into account the exceptional character of metaphysics correlated to the Trinitarian reality.;
  Niewątpliwie, postępujący rozwój nauki wpływa na nasz obraz świata. Zmiany owego obrazu z kolei prowokują teologię do ustosunkowania się (wejścia w dialog) i zdania sprawy ze swojego depozytu – w kwestiach, w których depozyt ten wchodzi w interakcje z nauką. Taki dialog jest oczywiście bardzo wartościowy dla samej teologii, gdyż prowadzi do oczyszczenia jej tez z tego, co nie należy do istoty jej treści.Dialog taki angażuje bardzo mocno filozofię, gdyż siłą rzeczy rozgrywa się w odgórnie przyjętej przestrzeni metafizycznej. W takiej konfiguracji poszukiwanie zgodności między nauką a religią nie tylko prowadzi do określenia wzajemnych kompetencji (oczyszczenie dziedzin), ale również wzajemnej relacji Boga i świata. Niestety w dialogu takim odgórnie przyjmuje się klasyczne modele metafizyczne. Tymczasem chrześcijaństwo, poprzez swoje założenia doktrynalne, dokonało ich modyfikacji, zwłaszcza za sprawą dogmatu trynitarnego. To z kolei rodzi pytanie, czy dialog między religią a nauką nie powinien uwzględniać wyjątkowego charakteru metafizyki skorelowanej z prawdą trynitarną?
